Recycling is a GREAT thing to do! It helps the earth tremendously and it pays money as well! Just got back from taking aluminum cans to be recycled... I had 104 pounds that folks from the church saved and we got a premium price of .88 a pound for a whopping $91.52 for our youth mission trip.
Besides that, I learned today that they now pay for recycled plastic bottles, cardboard, newspapers and magazines. The get a whopping .02 per pound... AND they also take GOOD wearable clothes and give you .02 per pound. The clothes are shipped to another country and given out there.
So, if anyone wants to recycle these items... for extra cash for themselves or for the building fund or youth fund... have at it... IT PAYS in MANY ways!
