Today, we set up right where the big boys were strutting and gobbling for two hours yesterday and wouldn't you know it... they were roosted right where we parked. We had to walk in underneath them in the trees. Did see a jake and a longbeard but when we were going back to our first set up to retreive my gear that I left behind so that it was lighter to run and gun.
One more day and then I am done for this year... it has been an eventful turkey season to say the least. I've enjoyed it alot, and been frustrated by the birds alot too!
