We were invited to a special Wicomico County Board of Education Awards Ceremony this past Tuesday evening. It was a ceremony for retirees, staff recognition, and student recognition. We were invited because our girls are leaders in the Regional Student Government Association. This Regional group consists of the lower 4 counties in MD.
Caroline was elected this year's President of the Regional Group and Emma was elected for a second term as the Regional Group's Second Vice President! Presenting the Award was Mrs. Kim Miles, now of the Board of Ed, but recently their Principal of Wi- Middle, and a very supportive proponent of the SGA. Also in attendance was the girl's favorite former advisor, Ms. Jetta Reynolds! It was a moment and honor that makes parents proud!
