Yesterday, while Sharon and I attended our mandatory Ethics Training.... two teams from Community of Joy Blessed our community.
23 people prepared and served a meal at God's Kitchen to 117 people. Many more contributed financially and with food items. The cost for that effort was only $99.21!!!!
24 people participated in the Courageous Christopher 5K Run, Walk, Stroller Strut which donated the total entry fee to benefit the Everybody's Playspace Playground at Pinehurst Elementary School. This playspace will be handicap accessible.
What a neat thing! We are blessed by God to bless others!
