Took a friend and member of Community of Joy turkey hunting this morning for the first time ever for him. And it was a bust! The WIND blew hard and the thunderstorm soaked us... but we thoroughly enjoyed having meaningful conversation about poverty, discipleship, and some new ministry ideas that he has. It was a refreshing way to have a meeting and to contemplate new ministries!
Excited to see what will come of this time together!
It was cool to find ourselves at one point standing under an eagle's nest with young in it. Didn't know it had young in it until they called out. The parents were gone at that point, but we saw them plenty earlier and later in the day.
