Tonight I had my 13th acupuncture treatment and it will be my first black eye. At least it looks that way now... if it doesn't turn black, I will be shocked. Right now it has a big ole welt that is filled with blood. Today we did "Cupping and Blooding" which had good results last time, so here's hoping that it will help more this time!
She used a total of 22 needles with 7 being in my scalp and face. Note how close to the eyes they are! Under the cup - which is very tight with suction, is a needle that she moved around a bit to make it bleed before putting the cup over the needle. The second picture is what it looks like after the cup comes off.
