Thanks....

At Easter, Community of Joy - led by Tami Brown and Susie Foreman blessed a family at Pinehurst Elementary School (we are their faith based partners) with all the fixins for Easter Dinner and beyond as well as Easter Baskets for all the children in the family (9) and chocoalte bunnies for the 3 adults.  It was a full SUV load of goodies.

We do this because we beleive that we are blessed by God so that we can bless others.

Here is the note that came today from the guidance counselor at the school with whom we worked to choose the family and deliver the gifts...

"Thanks to you and to those who contributed to the generous donation, our "adopted family" had a spectacular Easter and Spring Break. When I made the delivery, the grandmother was home along with an uncle. She was so grateful. As we continued to pull boxes and baskets from the car, she became overwhelmed and tearful. This is a very deserving family. The adults are working hard to ensure the children have the best possible futures. Education is stressed in the home. Good character is stressed in the home. I know they attend church weekly. Good work ethic is stressed as well. They are good people.

Thank you so much for all you have done to assist them in their life journey. The Community of Joy Church has made yet another positive impact in our community. We are all so grateful! Thank you!"
