This week, I spent two nights at the shelter... overnight. I was ambitious, especially last night. Thought I could get lots done! Not so... Working after Midnight when you are fighting sleep is almost impossible! I took several books along to read as well... but reading when sleepy is impossible as well. Now after sleeping the day away until 1:30, I am busy... tying up loose ends.
This year continues to be a great expereince in the shelter. We've had 15 to 20 guys each night and it is going real smooth.
Not sure what next week will hold... but glad to have a good first week under our belts!
