A worship experience that is often a highlight for me is our semi-annual Love Feast. It is modeled after Jesus' last supper with his disciples in John 13. There is some singing, praying, reflecting, a simple meal, an opportunity to wash feet, and a time to receive communion.
It is especially meaningful to humble myself to wash someone's feet. Sounds gross, but it really is a cool thing because it helps me understand the attitude and posture that Jesus wants me to have.
Looking forward to Sunday night... 6:30 p.m. !
