The Ramp has begun...

Today is a great day for our congregation as the long awaited handicap ramp has finally begun to be made... today the bushes were removed ( I took 2 LARGE loads to the dump of bushes and transplanted one on the south corner of the Smith St. side ... bottom pic). And once the bushes were gone, the footers were dug and the inspection called for... hopefully that happens tomorrow in the early a.m. and the progress can continue!

This is none too soon... on Sunday Stacy said she would not come again until the ramp was in... her chair fell off the make-shift ramps we've used now three weeks. Fortunately, Tri, Daryl, Walt and I were there to catch her... no one was hurt! And we have a new connection in Delmar who is waiting for the ramp so she can come meet us!
And today, we learned that the new windows are definitely in and will be installed this week... atleast some of them...not sure how long it will take to get the old ones out!
It's a great day!
