Mr. Dick Hazel and his late wife, Pat, have made a huge impact in the lives of youth on delmarva! For years they have given generously to organizations that help youth... Eastern Shore NWTF and Eastern Shore JAKES, The Salvation Army, The Salisbury Zoo, to name a few.
Today, the Eastern Shore NWTF Chapter held our 10th JAKES Day at his farm in Eden, MD. It was so touching to see a young man come up to Dick, after Dick was introduced to the crowd of 275, and reach out his hand to say "THANK YOU!" I was so touched, I took a picture... the second one. The third picture is Capt. Willie Dykes of WBOC helicopter talking with Dick.
