Was a letter from our Prayer Team Leader, Louise Mahan.... what a great letter... It reads..."Dear Prayer Partner: When Jesus' disciples said to him, 'Lord, teach us to pray... He said to them, when you pray, say: (and then she had a sticker with the Lord's Prayer on it) What a great prayer! Please be sure to pray for the transition of Community of Joy from Salisbury Christian School to the new ministry center that is being prepared. Be sure to thank God for His goodness in leading us to the property on South Blvd. Also thank God for the willing workers who are giving of their time and talents to prepare this location for worship. Community of Joy is a group where relationships matter. Pray that we remain strong in our relationships with each other as we work to make the transition. Let us pray that others will be drawn to serve God. Hope to see you Sunday morning when our prayer team meets at 9:30."
I just love the way Louise is leading us in prayer! She is doing a FANTASTIC job! What a POSITIVE force this team is in the life of our congregation! We have already seen much fruit as the result of our prayer efforts, not least of which is our coming together in this time of transition! And then there is the provision of God financially and otherwise! And don't forget the awesome experiences we are having as we work together!
