Today is Emma's 14th birthday! Hard to beleive it is so!
Started the day with the normal pictures when she wakes up... I promised I wouldn't post them! Then walked at the Mall with Sharon and then went to a Pastors meeting in Cordova... that lasted from 9:30 - 12:30... got to Salisbury around 2:30 and promptly went searching for Emma's gift. We had been on the fence until this morning about what we were going to do... settled on a Wii Fit... but should have gotten in a year ago. None to be had. Went to 10 stores, 8 in Salisbury, 1 in Cambridge and 1 in Easton... and called one in Fruitland. Not one store had a Wii Fit nor could they tell me when they would get them. So, we wrapped a coupon with a bag of sweedish fish.
I got home from that errand in time to make crab soup. It was an awesome recipe that we got from a friend at Christmas... we really enjoyed that for supper and Emma's favorite dessert... Elizabeth Emmert's Raspberry chocolate fluff pie!
