Last night after youth group, we encouraged the youth to help transform our ministry center's sanctuary into an empty room... so that we could be ready to receive the cots on Saturday for our homeless men's shelter. We are hosting the shelter for 2 weeks this year.... lots of challenges that we will rise above... but we will be the hands and feet of Jesus and show 20 homeless brothers God's awesome, welcoming love in these two weeks and we won't serve any half eaten hamburgers either!

Also it is so awesome to have two other churches join us in this venture!
...still looking for some men to stay a couple of overnight shifts, and if we don't find them... guess where I will be -- and that would be in addition to the two shifts I already signed up for!
