Headed out the door in a few minutes (it's 4:30 a.m. now) to sit in the woods to listen to the dawn chorus (as pooh would say). I love this time of the year and enjoy turkey hunting immensely! Gonna take my bow and a video camera to see what will happen.
UPDATE:
What a beautiful dawn chorus performance this morning! Five or more gobblers, lots of hens and the song birds, geese, crows, and peepers... spectacular!
And to make it even better, I got much of it on video and even brought home my first turkey killed with a bow and arrow! All before 6:30 and I even made it to men's group... 10 minutes late!
