Connie P. gave me some research she did that was inspired by the One Prayer series... Not knowing what her One prayer for the church might be, she decided to look at the Apostle Paul's prayers for the churches in his letters. In so doing, Connie discovered that Paul's number one prayer for the church was to KNOW God! His second prayer for the churches was that they would bear FRUIT! And his third prayer for the churches was that LOVE would abound!

It occurs to me that when we KNOW God and that knowledge grows, we will bear FRUIT (give evidence of that knowledge of God) and part of the fruit is LOVE!
