My prayer request for today is that God would open more doors for our congregation to connect with the college students living in our neighborhood. Part of this would involve the possibility of starting a Saturday night worship gathering and the HUGE need to find a musical worship leader and other musicians to lead this more contemporary gathering. Part of this is also connecting with a few students who will be "sneezers" that boldly proclaim the value of being connected at CoJ. Part of this is also about developing a strategy to reach out to this population.
Also, a prayer answered.... I just heard from the City, that we can put the name of our church on our building and then can re-do a front sign to be changeable!!!!!! YEAH GOD! And we can use our yellow real estate sized signs periodically.
I think for now, due to not having a great place to put our name on the building, we will first see about modifying our existing sign by making it larger and by adding moveable letters. Will explore that soon.
