Chasing Lions...

Preaching a series right now at Community of Joy called Chase the Lion, with great appreciation to Mark Batterson of National Community Church in D.C. for many of the ideas. I had chosen this series long before I knew what God was up to with the building possibility for us. How Divinely Timely! We are about to chase the lion... BIG time at CoJ! I had to work real hard to convince the bank to give us pre-approval for the financing. I was confident that if God were leading us in this direction, he would provide what was needed... and man alive has he ever! It truly is awesome... money is still trickling in and we've gotten almost 100% of the pledges. It's an awesome ride. Next Sunday we vote on the purchase!(though that hardly seems necessary with all the funds that have been voted already!)
