Today is Valentine's day... a day when our world focuses on love. Too bad we don't focus on love EVERYDAY! If we did, it would CHANGE the world. Jesus came to love us and that forever changed the world... but when his followers don't love like he calls us to love, that change is diminished.
When asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus said, "love the Lord, your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and the second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself." And he didn't stop there... he went on to say, "and all of the law and prophets hang on these two." In that he was saying that when we put into practice these two, we have it covered!
If only we could get those two right! If only we could love as Jesus does! It would truly change the world!
Who will you love today? And more importantly, who will you love tomorrow, and the day after?
