What if worshipping God breaks the chains that bind us in life? Consider this... the Apostle Paul and his friend Silas found themselves in jail bound in chains. And the bible tells us that they were singing hymns and praying and the other prisoners were listening in this dark, bound state! And it was around midnight that the spirit of God caused a great earthquake that shook the foundations of the prison and the chains fell off and the doors flew open.
No matter how bound we find ourselves in the chains of life, when we worship God, we shift the focus of our situation and find freedom that only God can offer.
Pastor and author, Mark Batterson says, "Don't let what's wrong with you, keep you from worshiping what's right with God." AMEN!
