Only ONE thing you need to do....

Thinking about the 23rd Psalm and the relationship that David describes that we can have with God.  And all the things that God will do for us. 

God will lead us to places of rest and refreshment and along right paths.  God will be present even in the midst of life's most challenging and darkest times so there is no need to be afraid.  God protects us and feeds us and welcomes us and allows us to live forever in his presence.

And that is all about what God does.  But there is ONE thing we must do.  Only one thing.  And that is to allow God to be our shepherd.  David says all this is possible because the "Lord is MY Shepherd" 

So the question for us... is this... Is God YOUR Shepherd?  Are you allowing him to guide your life.  If you give that role to him... then everything else is up to him... he takes care of all the rest!   No worries... because The Lord is My Shepherd!
