Spent the night last night at the Wicomico Presbyterian Church's homeless men's shelter. This is their first year. Previously they have felt they couldn't do this. But that has changed! Now they know they CAN do it and do it WELL! All it took was a little encouragement and a passionate leader from their church to step up and say, "let's give it a try!"
Things went so smoothly! The guys were most appreciative and the help was excited to be there and the love was flowing! It is truly awesome to see the church BEING the church! Doing the things that Jesus would want us to be doing!
This is definitely a "little engine that could" story! WOW! They stepped out of their comfort zones and God met them and provided all that they needed to do an excellent job with the shelter!
WAY TO GO!
